Bio

Combining a passion for video production and a love for travel, Harmonie T. Tangonan volunteers for The Tiziano Project as a Video Mentor. Her involvement with The Tiziano Project led to teaching multimedia in Riga and Lizums, Latvia and an Apache Indian reservation in San Carlos, Arizona.

Harmonie graduated from California State University of Long Beach in 2002 with a B.A. in Film and Video Production. After graduating, she went on to work in television production for 5 years as a Producer and Editor, which includes creating programming for local broadcast on CNN Headline News.

Creating web videos was the next step in her career at Causecast, a cause-oriented company. For the next 3 years she produced cause-related content for non-profit organizations, brands, music artists and celebrities campaigning for social change. Clients included Toyota, Virgin Mobile, Virgin America, and Huffington Post.

She later joined an after school program for Los Angeles Unified School District to teach multimedia in schools across the district. Her time with LAUSD gave her the teaching experience needed to work with The Tiziano Project.

Harmonie currently freelances as a Producer and Editor and continues to seek opportunities to create videos and documentaries that inspire social action.
