Bio

Irfat grew up in the Shuafat neighborhood of Jerusalem and is a sophomore in high school. She hopes to study journalism or design in university. She says she studies journalism because, “it will make my personality stronger. I'll get the chance to know people better, the problems that I haven't known before.” Irfat wants to share her stories of Palestinian life in Jerusalem. “Although there are a lot of people who know our problems, they know how we suffer, some people won't believe us.
