Bio

 

Victoria Fine is an award-winning journalist and the Program Director of The Tiziano Project. She has managed training programs in the Middle East, Eastern Europe and beyond. 

 

Victoria manages the content for StoriesFrom, as well as the content from The Tiziano Project 360 | Kurdistan,The Tiziano Project 360 | Kurdistan, which won honors from the Online News Association, the Gracies, SXSW, the Webbys, and Adobe, among others. She won three Webbys for her work with CounterSpill.org, an interactive project that looks at the continued impact of fossil fuel disasters on communities. She is also the managing editor of Modern Overland, a tech savvy and socially sustainable travel guide series. 

 

Prior to this, she was a founding and managing editor of the Impact & Education sections of The Huffington Post, as well as the managing editor of Causecast, a media company that worked with major publications to help their audiences make a difference in the news stories they read.

 

She is the author of three books. "Fundamental Talent," a guide to top-level management succession, is now used in the curriculum at Carnegie Mellon’s Tepper School of Business and Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University. Victoria holds a master’s degree in new media journalism and a bachelor’s degree in print journalism from The Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University.
